I’m trying to add a widget in a div in the content of a landing page with a Genesis child theme.
My site is:
Chess Rating Rise
This code did not work:
'
', 'after' => '
')); ?>
I tried it directly within
in the landing page and this was the result:
Add widget/widget area to Genesis Child Theme
I also tried it in the landing page template and I got a phhp error message (Unexpected <).
I am seeking help from StudioPress Community forum..See:

My saga with BuddyPress continues!
I am STILL trying to get good BuddyPress/bbPress forum setup on my main blog
(see http://richard-dickinson.com/ http://richard-dickinson.com/ )
(After a recent upgrade to latest WP version I lost sidebar content from my theme there..however!?! It was also difficult upgrading to the latest WP as I had plugin conflicts including the BuddyPress plugin).
I will be wanting to add BuddyPress/bbPress forums to another site soon running a modified version of WP 2011 theme.
So I am trialling a WP/BP bbp-twentyeleven theme here on my test site where it seems fine!
(see http://serverpress.com/news/getting-started-with-bbpress-2-0/ )
(on my localhost server it brings up a blank -no style- forum page using the default theme? but yet adapting it to my modified WP 2011 theme there it is relatively fine-with some css layout/sizing corrections needed!).
I hope one fine day to get BuddyPress forums sorted properly on my sites! Onwards….
